No More Music from the White Stripes

Sad news today from the world of rock and roll... The White Stripes, Jack and Meg White, have chosen to hang it up announcing that they're going to be leaving the legacy of the band as is, will not be recording or touring anymore and officially are calling it quits.

Carnival of Rock and Roll–February 2011

Even though my hometown and I have recently been buried under roughly 20 inches of snow (that's no joke or exaggeration, there literally was 20 inches that fell in 2 days and drifts of 3+ feet I shoveled from my driveway) I can smell something fun in the air.
