Here at the Soul of Rock 'n' Roll we run a blog carnival called the Carnival of Rock 'n' Roll. These carnivals feature the posts from fellow music related bloggers from across the Internet. In the future, other we may also run other carnivals which will also be included under this heading.

Carnival of Rock and Roll - August 2008

It's time for another Carnival of Rock 'n' Roll. Plenty of cool contributions this month, so lets toss aside all the pleasantries and get right down to it.

First, a couple of articles that are sure to stir up some controversy for some (especially the second one), but amusing and interesting social comment for others... from Top 5 Worst Music Magazines

Top 10 Reasons Oasis is Better than The Beatles

Carnival of Rock and Roll - July 2008

Alright, back to regularly scheduled programming here at the Soul of Rock 'n' Roll. Bout time too if you ask me as I really missed the carnival last month. It's a good dose of what's going on in the world of rock on the internet usually with a great range of topics and articles. One good thing that did come from missing the June carnival it seems though, is that this month got a lot more entries than I normally see... which is pretty sweet.

And so without further ado... the Carnival of Rock 'n' Roll July 1st 2008:

Carnival of Rock and Roll - May 2008

Time for another Carnival of Rock 'n' Roll. This month there was a major flood of articles and submissions for the carnival. Unfortunately a lot had to be filtered out, but there were still plenty of great entries... all interesting to read and worth checking out.

Carnival of Rock and Roll - March 2008

Time for another Carnival of Rock 'n' Roll. There were more contributions this month than ever before, something I'm taking as a sign that the carnival is reaching more and more people every month. Unfortunately not everything was accepted this time, but the posts that were are still as interesting as ever.

Michael Lloyd of Michael Lloyd Band takes a look at some new CDs from piano players in: Some new CDs in my ears

Carnival of Rock and Roll - February 2008

February is looking like a good month for the Carnival of Rock 'n' Roll as there were lots of interesting entries. It's good to see a lot of other bloggers saying something about rock and roll or music and that the carnival is growing as the most it grows the more everyone who contributes benefits. I'm looking forward to next month already.

Carnival of Rock and Roll - January 2008

Throughout 2007, there were some excellent pieces submitted to the Carnival of Rock 'n' Roll. I'm continuing the carnival into the new year and the trend is continuing as there were some great contributions this month.

Some people have all the luck and JD of I Do Things so You Don't Have to seems to be one of them. This month he discusses seeing U@ in Ireland of all places. Check it out: I Saw U2. IN IRELAND! so you don't have to

Carnival of Rock and Roll - December 2007

Apparently last month carnival was successful in drumming up interest, as this month there was quite a turn out of new people and regulars, all with interesting posts. As I've said before, I'm quite happy with how this carnival has turned out and hope that people enjoy seeing a few of the other great rock and roll bloggers/writers out there as well.

Carnival of Rock and Roll - November 2007

Quite another interesting carnival. I say that every month, but it's true. Apparently I'm not the only one on the Internet who has lots to say about rock and roll, music and the music industry, even if it's not necessarily as direct as some others.

A regular of the Carnival of Rock and Roll, Sheena Metal set along her latest two articles:
Radio Play - Will Topping The Charts Make You Bigger Than Elvis?

Carnival of Rock and Roll - October 2007

I really like how this carnival is turning out. Every month there's a whole bunch of music and rock and roll articles submitted from such a wide variety of sources, cultural backgrounds and opinions, making for a great mix and this month is no exception.
